Make of this what you will. If you think it seems far-fetched, imagine what the government response would have been like had the Tea Party rallies or Occupy rallies gotten violent. Would it have looked like the restrained Greek response or more like the Syrian response?
I’m not prone to conspiracy theories but let’s be honest, the American government has a well-documented reputation of being less that, um, trustworthy. And the Republicrat status quo has rarely tolerated dissent they themselves had not manufactured.
